## Portugal Mirandese mission sets six-pillar plan to 2029

Policy. Portugal's Estrutura de Missão for Mirandese presented a six-pillar strategy through 2029, with up to €500,000 a year for teaching, public services and vitality monitoring of the second official language.

## Waitangi Tribunal: NZ curriculum rewrite breaches te reo protections

Education. The Waitangi Tribunal finds the Crown's knowledge-rich curriculum reset breached Treaty principles of partnership and active protection of te reo Māori, tikanga and mātauranga Māori. It recommends returning to co-design of Te Marautanga o Aotearoa with Māori.
